Applicants should have a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) as well as an ability to operate in both a team and a multi task environment.
The position involves undertaking conceptual and detailed design for mechanical, piping and equipment systems to provide input and coordination for master planning of the industrial facilities. The Senior Mechanical Engineer would be expected to prepare technical procurement documentation and produce engineering design calculations and technical input for draftspersons to develop drawings for construction.

Experience is required in planning within an engineering office environment. Candidates are also required to have familiarity with Primavera scheduling software.
The Senior Planning Engineer is required to work in conjunction with senior management to facilitate the timely and cost-efficient management of the project, by identifying and correcting risks, trends or bottlenecks that are hindering the performance of the project.

Successful applicants will have experience in the electrical design of minerals and metals processing facilities and in particular the detail design of HV and LV power distribution, control and instrumentation systems. Candidates should already be working at senior engineer level and need to be able to communicate effectively with clients, alliance partners and peers.
The position requires the candidate to implement and lead value-improving and safety-focussed initiatives in electrical design, which meet construction plans, specifications, schedules and cost control estimates.

Candidates need to be Chartered Engineers (or equivalent) with experience as lead Civil / Structural Engineers on major Minerals and Metals projects.
The position is responsible for directing professional and technical staff in providing the Civil / Structural design, procurement and all associated construction and interdisciplinary support for Civil infrastructure.

- experience in a design on large client focused international,
- multi discipline projects in the Minerals and Metals Industry with extensive experience in conceptual front end and detailed engineering design,
